Karingal
Karingal, also spelt Karungal, is a small town near Nagercoil in Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. It spans over an area of about 19 sq km. Keezhkulam is situated in the south-west, Paliyadi in the north-east, Thiruvithamcode in the east and Thikkanamcode in the south-east. Karingal lies around six kilometers north-west of Colachel. Colachel Port, Padmanabhapuram Palace, Sanguthurai Beach, Manavalakurichi, Muttam and Nagercoil are nearby tourist spots.
Trivandrum International Airport is the nearest airport. Eraniel Railway Station serves the town. Karingal can be accessed from Nagercoil and Kuzhithurai by road.
