Palugal is also spelt as Pazhugal and Palukal is a small town situated on the Kerala - Tamil Nadu border. Thriparappu Waterfalls is the major tourist attraction nearby.
Situated on the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border, Palugal (also spelt Pazhugal and Palukal) is a small settlement in Kanyakumari District. It spans over an area of nine sq km. Edaicodu is situated in the east, Parassala in the north-west and Kollemcode in the south-west. Thengapattinam, Kuzhithurai, Neyyattinkara and Thriparappu Waterfalls are tourist attractions nearby.

Trivandrum International Airport is the nearest airport. Palugal can be approached by road from Kuzhithurai and Thiruvananthapuram.
