Thengamputhoor
Thengamputhoor, also spelt Thengampudur, is a small settlement in Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. Situated near Kanyakumari, the town spans over an area of about four sq km. Puthalam is situated in the south, Kottaram in the east, Suchindram in the north and Kulasekarapuram in the north-east. Thovalai, Sanguthurai Beach, Kanyakumari Beach and Vattakottai are nearby tourist attractions.
Accommodation facilities are available at Kanyakumari. Trivandrum International Airport is the nearest airport. Kanyakumari Railway Station serves the town. Thengamputhoor can be accessed from Nagercoil and Kanyakumari by road.
