Thovalai
Thovalai, a sleepy village situated 12 km from Nagercoil, on the way to Tirunelveli, is one of the largest flower markets of South India. A large variety of flowers of all colors and types are cultivated and marketed here. Windmill farms for power generation add beauty to the floral plantations. The flower market begins at 9 in the morning and continues till dusk. Nearest airport is Trivandrum International Airport, and Nagercoil is the nearest railhead.
